Hamburg seems...

Canon CMOS sensors

Canon has a site containing information about the sensors used in their digital SLR cameras. I still haven't read much from the site, but would hopefully be able to do soon.
I wonder what would become of the full-frame and reduced-frame issue in the digital SLRs. So far, the full-frame digital SLRs from Canon have been pretty expensive. Now their is a cheaper (where cheap is a relative term) full-frame digital SLR in the form of EOS 5D. Will there be a point that the prices of full-frame DSLRs will drop to a point where making reduced frame cameras would cease to be an option?

video surveillance on...

...Hamburg's Reeperbahn, a pretty famous Hamburg street. he he.

P.S.
One has to have been to Reeperbahn to be able to understand this.

P.S. 1
I, for one, never found Reeperbahn to be that interesting a place as its reputation suggests.

web services transactions

At present there are two industrial efforts into defining coordination and transactions specifications for web services. One of these is backed by the likes of IBM and Microsoft. Here is an interesting email on a newsgroup making the case for doing away with the other effort.
