...wondering about two news stories coming out of India and Pakistan, which are a clear indication of where these countries stand, or better, to which depths has Pakistan sunk.

1) India forces a plane carrying US soldiers to land and grounds it, just because of a non-deliberate technical mistake. Read the details here.

Obama awarded 2009 Nobel Peace Prize

What has Mr. Hope done, except go back on his promises? No closing of Guantanamo, wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, eyes set on Iran and also the so called al-qaida in Pakistan, no success in freezing of Israeli settlements in occupied land?

(Not that I would read much into a so-called Peace Prize any way.)
