Among the...

...heap of bad news, as always everyday, is Isreali "commandoes" storming an aid ship with lots of activists on board. How does the Toronto Star report it: by posting Israeli army videos, and accounts by Israeli soldiers of how their "rifles were stolen away" (vow, what great "commandoes")!! Even CNN hasn't gone that low.

The photo at...

...this link shows the new ministers in England's recently formed cabinet. The interesting thing in the photo is a woman, born to Pakistan parents, wearing a Pakistani dress. She may not be afraid to own her roots, but mewonders what would happen were she to speak her own opinions?

Update: CNN has apparently learnt that there is a Muslim minister in the british cabinet, though she doesn't have a portfolio, which shows how great her responsibilities are!

An interesting take on her body language (and that of other ministers) at the first cabinet meeting is here.

Somehow both of the previous links report her as the "chairman" of the Conservative Party. Didn't we start using chairperson for this type of situation very long ago?

The interesting...

...saga of incompetent and obliging "terrorists" is unfolding as such stories should. The incompetent claimed to have been trained in North Waziristan, which is another region where US drones (flying from within Pakistan, of course) are killing people by the dozen, and where the US wants the regular Pakistani army to send its troops. Me wonders, why did the incompetent have to go all the way to North Waziristan to get the bomb-making "training", whereas such training could have been had at any other place?

The video...

...at this link provides a glimpse of what happens when "world leaders" meet. The commentary and subtitles are in German, but the language being spoken by the participants is English, which can be heard with some effort. Listen to what China's envoy has to say towards the end.

Where else could...

...the "amateurish" bomb-maker have come from, except Pakistan? Why would only incompetents always grab attention out of a nation of 170 million people, me understands not. Now further excuse to feed everyones frenzy in beating the hell out of the world's favourite whipping boy, the unfortunate country of Pakistan.

It is indeed...

...reassuring to know that there exist obliging "terrorists" who try to explode "amateurish" bombs right in time to take attention away from more serious issues...like an oil spill maybe?
