This is the first time I have read such detailed information about why some countries drive on the left and some on the right. Excellent article.

I finally watched...

...the much talked-about "Kingdom of Heaven", the movie about the Crusades. Well, I wonder what the message of the movie was, or rather, what was the point. The film may have been correct historically, plus it is rather objective, in the sense that it is not the christian version of crusades history, but other than that, I don't think it had anything beyond entertainment value.

my blog and email should be left alone!!!

When I signed up for an account at blogger.com, blogging wasn't really in. Which meant that I could get my middle name, Farhat, as my account name. Similarly, when I signed up for Gmail, I was able to get the username "farhat", since, at that time, no other Farhat had made an account at Gmail.
Well, I think there are a number of Farhats around who would like to get the email address at Gmail that I have. I regularly get automated emails from Gmail about where I could login to change my password. Presumably this happens when someone tries to reset my password for Gmail. Today I got an email from blogger.com about which link I could follow to change my password. Well, I had not initiated this, so presumably this was once again an attempt to reset my password for my blogger.com account.
Well, this is pathetic. Luckily, however, both my accounts are still surviving.

Todays Guardian has an article by Al-jazeera's manager, asking innocently why Bush wanted to bomb him. A "news blog" on the same site links to a blog started by Al-jazeera's employees.
