Saturday I visit the local library with my children. Today I saw the book "The Autobiography of Malcolm X, As told to Alex Haley" displayed as part of the Black History month. I have got that book, in the hope that it will be interesting to read.
I am also making slow progress reading Ron Suskind's The Way of the World.

A few months back I mentioned new books on the reading menu, but unfortunately they are still unread.

...temperature is -9 Celcius in Mississauga. This is not unusual. What was pretty noticeable, though, was that the temperature in the morning yesterday was +9 Celcius, and in the evening -9 Celcius, and falling!!

Stuff has...

...happened to my laptop, well, after almost four and a half years. I am not so sure what I did, but somehow I cannot access any network (wired or wireless) on the laptop. Have made a few half-hearted attempts at resolving the problem, but nothing good has come out of it.
I think a re-install of WinXP is needed. In any case, the laptop has become pretty slow and unresponsive over the past few weeks, the reason for which I also haven't been able to find.
What worries me is not the re-install, or backing up the data, since I regularly back most of it up, but losing the settings and tweaks and configurations I have made over the past 4.5 years.
