...The Siege of Vienna by John Stoye.

Finished reading...

...The Grand Design by Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow. Though entertaining, it wasn't clear, at least to me, what the message of the book was. That there is no God? If so, the book fails miserably, since in this context, it is utterly unconvincing. Instead, if the book had just presented the contents as such, which are really amazing, and detail the progress of human thought through the centuries, it would have been much interesting. By interjecting no need for a God, without having a clear argument for this, seems very half-cooked from a scientist of Stephen Hawking's stature.

The following article is an indication how quickly the theories of physics may change, since many of them, as I learnt from the book, are really just that, theories.
